PowerWize gives every person a chance to
truly make a difference from the comfort of
their own home!
PowerWize was launched on 7 July 2007, in light of the Live
Earth concerts. PowerWize is an easy way to become part of
the solution.
PowerWize measures the electricity used by the electrical
running appliances plus it can calculate how much it costs to
run those appliances.
It is easy to use; simply plug PowerWize into a conventional
power socket, plug an electrical appliance you want to test
into the PowerWize socket. PowerWize will display how
much actual power is being consumed by the appliance,
sometimes we just can't trust what is says on the box. You
can also program your PowerWize to calculate the cost of
running electrical appliances. So now that you know how
much power is being consumed by for example your TV
being on 'stand by', you may decide to totally turn it off
when not used cause it will also save you $$$$.....You can test
all appliances in your home and really become energy savvy!
